What is Community Supported Agriculture?

It is a farmer-consumer partnership. Members make an up-front commitment to the entire growing season by purchasing a 'share' in the crop. In return, farmers provide all CSA members with a fresh supply of vegetables and fruit weekly that change with season. CSA members share the rewards of a successful harvest, as well as the risks that come with bad weather and pests. CSA members are also encouraged to become involved with the farm. Come and visit the farm, learn tips for successful growing, lend a hand tending to the crops, get to know the land and where your food comes from and meet some new friends who share your commitment to fresh local food.
